We find it very strange that the poor sound recordist has to hold a very heavy
microphone boom pole all day AND also carry the digital recorder AND also
take full responsibility for the recording levels.
Perhaps the clapperboard operator will take charge of the sound recording
machine after he's marked the shot and take, or maybe he might even take a
turn at holding the boom pole.
Somehow we don't think so. That's our opinion
But what do you think? Please let us know.
